A case of polycystic disease of kidney

Abstract

|
The patient was 57 years old woman who was admitted with the chief complaints of lumbago and headache. The routine laboratory examination showed hematuria, proteinuria and azotemia. Intravenous pyelogram showing an elongation of the pelvis, flattening of the calyces and slight enlargement of both kidneys suggested to be polycystic kidney. Conservative treatment was done but there was no improvement.
